Get involved and connect with other alumni and YFU! Just pick something that appeals to you!

There are ways of getting involved at any time in your life if you want to share your YFU experiences with others -- whether you're looking for those who went on exchange with you, talking to students who are interested in going on exchange, or sharing an event in the Alumni Corner.

Calling All YFU USA Alumni! Find the old friends you promised you would never forget.
We are currently compiling The Youth For Understanding USA 2008 Alumni Directory! You should have received a request to verify your contact information via mail or e-mail from our partners at Harris Connect. If you have not received an update request or have any questions please give Harris a call at 1-800-877-6554. For more information about Harris, visit http://www.harrisconnect.com/.

Please note Harris Connect is publishing the directory and you will have the opportunity to purchase the directory if you wish. You do not have to purchase the directory in order to update your information.  We do ask for everyone to update their information as the data will be returned to YFU. An updated database will allow YFU to better stay in touch with you going forward.

If you have questions about this project or would like to reconnect with YFU please contact Jennifer McKendree at 1.800.424.3691 x 388 or jmckendree@yfu.org

Facebook and MySpace: There are many Facebook and MySpace sites by YFU alumni and current students. The official YFU-USA sites are myspace.com/yfu_usa and in Facebook, search specifically for Youth For Understanding USA.

Alumni Contact Network:
Alumni volunteers contact the members of their exchange class, i.e., same country, year and program length, in order to reconnect them with YFU USA.

Alumni Corner:
Full of stories from alumni about their exchanges, what's happened since they've been back and how YFU has made an impact on their lives, this section is one of the most popular on the website. If you'd like to contribute a story, please let us know.

Alumni Link:
This newsletter is a publication of the National Alumni Council (NAC). You can Debbie and her host sisterread about what the Council and alumni around the country are doing.

Alumni Referral:
YFU alumni from the past five years to present communicate with students interested in a YFU exchange program or who are already enrolled. Referral participants are first screened in a telephone interview -- if you went on exchange longer than five years ago, we need screeners, too!

Email Group:
This email group is designed to promote communication between various YFU constituencies through the use of an email discussion group.

Help Recruit Host Families:
YFU has come up with nine ways you can help recruit host families.
