G’day!!!!

My name is Christine Skole and I am your Alumni Contact. Currently I live in Crest Hill, IL and I work at a social service agency doing their books. I am very excited about taking on this position and finding all of our lost alumni. Spending a year in Australia was the best experience of my life. I have memories and friends that will last forever. I have kept in touch with many of those friends over the years, I’ve returned twice so far: once in 1991 when I graduated high school and once in December 1999 (almost 10 years to the day that I left the first time) to be a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding. Can you believe it’s been over ten years since we first set foot in Australia? Sadly, over the years I have lost touch with many of the other exchange students I met while on Some of us at Ayers Rockexchange...that is why I decided to take on this position. I hope this will give us all a way to share our memories, make some new ones, and maybe even reunite again someday. Please contact me if you are one of the lost Australia ’89 Alumni and let me know where life has taken you, send pictures, send favorite stories from your exchange, or anything you would like so I can share with others who may be searching for you. I can be reached through email at yfu_australia89@yahoo.com or you can write me at 1123 Elizabeth Court #5 Crest Hill, IL 60435. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!!

Are you in the above picture? Do these words mean anything to you…”um hm I want to linger, um hm a little longer, um hm a little longer with you?” Does Inxs’ “I love you so, I need you now, I want you back, I can’t go on…” bring back fond memories? Do you remember our fearless leaders Helen, Erik, Jacque, & Simon or our Coach Captain Bill? Do you recall the endless laughs, hug duties, and group back rubbing sessions? If you answer yes to these questions I’m looking for you. I would like to find all 43 passengers from this incredible journey, so if you are one of them please contact me through email at yfu_australia89@yahoo.com or write me at 1123 Elizabeth Court #5 Crest Hill, IL 60435. Please send pictures, favorite stories from the trip, and updates on you so I can share them with others. Can’t wait to talk to you.
