These are some pictures from our exchange. If you have any pictures you'd like to add or can help us identify people, please let our class contacts, Soo Cook (soo@flash.net) and Aníbal Blanco (Anibal@cab.cnea.gov.ar) know!

If you wish to share your memories in writing on this web page and/or if you have photos to share send it to us and we'll get it posted here!

"Hej! Or Mojn!" Remember learning to eat sandwiches with a fork and knife? Remember trying to say "rød grød med fløde" while all the Danes laughed? Remember how great it tasted? Remember that tacky joke we told about the "jomfru"? Remember drinking coffee from a tea cup and drinking tea from a coffee mug? Remember eating "lakrids"?

We remember all this and much more. We have signed up to be the Class Contacts and together we have been working very hard finding and contacting more of us who lived that year in the most beautiful country! We have been in touch with many of you and have enjoyed our times reminiscing with you. Stay in touch! We are still looking for many others, so we hope to hear from you and hear about what you remember!

Maybe you might even remember one of us? Susan Cook (aka Soo)...maiden name Sue Stenger... was originally from Michigan, but now lives in Texas. AnÃbal Blanco was one of two YFU students from South America that year. AnÃbal was originally from Resistencia, Chaco and currently lives in Bariloche, RÃo Negro in Argentina. Our year in Danmark was one of the BEST years of our lives! We treasure our experiences, friendships, and memories. Soo finally had the opportunity to go back to Denmark in the summer of 1998! It felt like a DREAM... seeing her host family, neighbors, and old friends for the first time after so many years!! She didn't want to leave!!! Unfortunately, AnÃbal has not yet been able to return, but stays in contact with his host families.

Our ultimate dream is to have a reunion in Denmark. One of our group still lives in DK today! Until then maybe some of us could get together somewhere in the US? What do you think? Let us know!

It's been fun getting to find out where our lives have taken us. In our group we have a pastor, a pilot, an actor, a teacher, a librarian, a nuclear engineer, a salesman, moms and dads, and much more! What are you doing now? How has your experience in Denmark influenced your life choices?
