Our surprise trip to the National Cathedral. Thanks to Paul andJuha! One of my philosophies is to have no regrets. Therefore, I have no regrets about anything I did (or didn't do) this summer. "WOW! It was all so exciting!" As one of the most positive people I have ever met (who coincidentally was a fellow FUSYE student ) would say. I would have to agree with him.

Although every single YFU student has a completely different experience, we all undoubtedly learned a lot about ourselves. To be away from the comforts of home, away from our family and friends, and away from everything we are used to for eight weeks is definitely something to be proud of. When faced with a new and unfamiliar situation, you realize what some of your strengths and weaknesses are.

To use the YFU cliché "It's not over - it's just beginning" is very fitting here. The exchange student's experience is never really over. Regardless of whether they had a horrible or wonderful experience (hopefully, most people would say the latter) it is something they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Look at that stud!A friendship is a terrible thing to waste and as the 14 of us go our separate ways in life it would be a shame to lose touch. As the volunteer class contact for this group, I would love to hear what has been happening with you since our trip! Email me, send me pictures, update your information, etc. so others may contact you as well!

Carpe diem.
