high school and went on to attend Vanderbilt University where I earned
a degree in European studies with a concentration in German. I graduated
from Vanderbilt in 1997 and enrolled at Emory University School of Law
that fall. I graduated from Emory in May of 2000, and married my husband,
Lane Davis, a classmate from Emory Law in November of 2000. My host
parents and host brother from my year in Germany attended the wedding.
I have been fortunate to have remained in contact with my German host
family in the years since my time in Germany. I have been back to visit
on several occasions and they have visited my family in the US as well."
