How would you like to reconnect with people from your exchange program while doing something great for YFU? Join the Alumni Contact Network.

The Alumni Contact Network (ACN) is a project sponsored by the National Alumni Council, the governing body of the YFU-USA Alumni Association. This project is completely managed and conducted by YFU alumni volunteers, and is intended to help fellow alumni get and stay in touch with each other as well as to provide opportunities for alumni to get reconnected with YFU in many different ways.

Many different groups (by program, year, and country) already have a volunteer class contact working on contacting and finding fellow "exchange mates". They also help facilitate communication among old friends! Most groups have very interesting "online yearbooks" with photos and stories! Enjoy!

Class Contacts are needed for more groups. Maybe you would like to be the Class Contact for your group? Some groups that already have a Class Contact are very large and perhaps a partnership sharing the work could be arranged.

Objectives:

• Establish contact with YFU-USA alumni on a more personal level.
• Update/confirm addresses, phone numbers, email addresses with alumni.
• Find “lost” alumni.
• Provide ways for alumni to become reconnected with YFU-USA through sharing memories, volunteering, hosting, and social activities in local alumni groups.
• Create awareness of financial giving opportunities to YFU.

Notice:

• This project is open to all USA students who have traveled abroad with YFU. It does not include international alumni who traveled to the USA. You will need to contact your YFU home office for this information.
• Also, this project does not include international alumni who traveled to a country other than the USA. YFU-USA does not maintain records for YFU alumni in other countries. You will need to contact your YFU home office for this information. A few Class Contacts, however, have also expressed interest in contacting and including these alumni and do so at their own initiative and expense.
