God dag from Mark McClurg. I've volunteered to be the class contact for all us YFU'ers who went to Norway in 1998-1999. Just a little about myself, I don't want to bore anyone, I'm currently a student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas studying German. If you don't remember me, I'm the Texan who was placed in Alta (Northern Norway).

Remember meeting at the airport in Newark and playing cards?  Remember arriving in Hønefoss and looking at the breakfast spread thinking, 'I'll never get used to this'? Remember trying to figure out which milk was skim and which one was whole? Remember getting together for midtårssamling? Remember Norgesturen at the end of our stay? I'll never forget what fun we had! I recall us all agreeing that we wanted to get back together in at least ten years; however, if we can't, we can still keep in touch via YFU. In order to remain in contact, though, please keep me informed as how to easily contact you. I check my e-mail (mcdoodle_yfu@hotmail.com) regularly.

Some of you I have kept in touch with by post cards and e-mail, but this way we can all stay connected. I truly hope that we can indeed all get together sometime by the year 2009, a little 'class reunion' if you will. If you have any ideas or would like to help organize a reunion, let me know!
