General Info | Contacts | Role

lightening zap Minimally, Class Contacts are expected to contact 10 to 20 people from their exchange program at least once a year. This contact may be in writing, in person or via phone to verify address, phone, and email information for YFU. The more people contacted, the better.

lightening zapIt is suggested to have an initial contact to verify contact information and establish communication and then follow-up with additional communication(s) regarding YFU opportunities.

lightening zapClass Contacts are expected to create awareness about various financial giving opportunities to YFU. Class Contacts do not directly solicit money, nor are they expected to. The goal is to create awareness on a personal level. Alumni can also be referred to donations page.

lightening zapClass Contacts are also expected, whenever possible, to encourage those they contact to become involved with YFU again as volunteers, hosts, or to become active socially in a local YFU alumni group.

lightening zapClass Contacts are also expected to try to find "lost" alumni from their group.

lightening zapClass Contacts must also report updates to the Project Manager at alumni@yfu.org, on a regular basis regarding their contact activity.

lightening zapClass Contacts will also probably enjoy talking about their international exchange experience with some long lost friends.

lightening zapHave FUN!!

If you want to be an ACN Class Contact, email alumni@yfu.org for more information.
