The NAC voted and passed a measure to move the election of
the new NAC members from summer to winter. The NAC will be
publicizing the election throughout the YFU networks at the
beginning of January for an election held in early March.
Nominees should have a minimum of two years experience with
YFU or YFU Alumni Associations, live in the USA, and be
willing to subscribe to email if elected. There are also
openings for non-alumni members.
During the weekend of October 2-4, the NAC will be having
its second conference. While the committee work continues to
be of importance, the group will focus on assessing the past
year and developing strategies for improvement, involving
more volunteers and alumni in NAC goals, and strengthening
working relationships with YFU departments. Please direct
questions or comments or website postings to the Alumni
Affairs Office, at alumni@yfu.org.
