Do you love to talk about your exchange experience?

Were you able to talk with someone who had been to your host country before you left for your exchange? Or do you wish you had? Now you can be the expert and share your experience with other students preparing to participate in a Youth For Understanding program.

We are always adding to our Alumni Referral List, and if you are a YFU alumnus/alumna from no more than five years ago, this might be for you! This list will be provided to prospective and enrolled students, as well as being made available on the YFU USA website. We are developing a referral list that represents all YFU programs and would love to have you participate. Your responsibility would be to respond to e-mails, calls, and letters from prospective students or parents that contact you.

The Youth For Understanding website will only have your first name, host country, program year and length, e-mail address, and your comment. YFU staff will be given a list with your full name and contact information. The list runs on a school-year calendar, and is updated each summer.

If you are an international YFU alumnus/alumna from no more than five years ago and you currently live in the U.S., you too might find that the Alumni Referral list is for you. If you are interested, please complete the application and you will be on your way to sharing your expertise about your host country.
